Put down what you’re carrying and embrace.

Well, here we are. One day and three hours to go before I hit thirty. I’m not resisting the urge to fix up my room and tick off my final to dos. I’ve always been this way. I’m always ready to pack things away in tidy boxes and let go of all the rubbish that will no longer be necessary in the future. I like to think of it as unloading myself of the past to get ready for the future. If you’re celebrating the every day, the every moment, as they come, as they are, there’s no need to hoard them at all. I have faith that what lies ahead is much more brilliant than the remnant I might cling to.

Thank you, Lord, for this gift of ever renewing hope.
